May 5, 2014

episode38

Sometimes all you need is to get people to work together.

My guest today will share with us how that ability can truly turn you into a fantastic project manager.

He will also share with us:

  • Techniques that he has used to get teams to work together
  • The first thing a new project manager can do to start leading from day one
  • How getting people to collaborate and work together can be more important than technical or business knowledge
  • The benefits of teaching Project Management

And as usual, I will ask Geoff Crane the famous PM for the Masses 6 questions.

Geoff Crane :)

Geoff Crane 🙂

Geoff Crane is a former senior project portfolio manager who has ties to some of the world’s largest banks and professional services firms.

A staunch believer in the value of soft skills over hard skills, he has returned to university to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology. Unable to stay away from the action, though (or take himself too seriously), Geoff continues to help aspiring executives organize their project work and is an adjunct professor of Project Management at Durham College in Ontario, Canada.
