Are you by any chance thinking about becoming a Certified Associate in Project Management? Well then you are in for a treat because the Project Management Institute (PMI)® the PMI is currently in the process of making a number of exciting changes to this exam. I’d like to invite you to review them with me by listening in on CAPM_Update.mp3?c_id=50109269&cs_id=50109269&expiration=1568639432&hwt=dad14336dea25fc35de36fff77ed8ca1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>Episode 433 of The PM Podcast.

We are hearing directly from Sierra Hampton Simmons (LinkedIn Profile). Sierra has nearly two decades of experience as an expert in certification management and joined PMI in late 2013. Currently, she serves as the Portfolio Leader and Head of Certification Products. This means that she is responsible for the entire portfolio of certification products including the CAPM® certification. So she is the perfect person to talk to about this.

There are some technical changes. For example, takers of the CAPM® Exam will encounter two new question types on the exam (matching questions and multiple choice).

PMI is also making it easier for everyone who is and will be CAPM® Certified with some adjustments to training and education hours requirements. As Sierra explains, all changes are based on data and research done in the field of Project Management.

I invite you to CAPM_Update.mp3?c_id=50109269&cs_id=50109269&expiration=1568639432&hwt=dad14336dea25fc35de36fff77ed8ca1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”>listen in, and comment below with your thoughts or feedback on these changes.
