What’s new in ProofHub? Just about everything and then some!

1. @Mentions

You can now @mention people to grab their attention, address them or even loop them in a discussion.

2. Announcements

The announcements section is specially designed for you to have a dedicated space to convey information. The information may or may not be project-specific. You can appreciate a job well done or even give birthday greetings. Announcements can prove to be an effective way to motivate teams.

3. Request forms

You can streamline how work requests and info are submitted to your team and avoid receiving requests from multiple sources so nothing falls through the cracks. You can now take work requests through a form and the information will be saved as tasks within ProofHub.

4. Multiple timers

ProofHub understands how you may want to juggle multiple tasks and track time for each. You can now start and pause timers as you switch between tasks and log the time entries in a timesheet whenever you want.

5. Jump to

Speaking of connectivity, ‘Jump to’ is a shortcut that literally allows you to ‘jump to’ a specific project, person, and bookmark quickly. You can use Ctrl/Cmd+J anywhere within ProofHub and open the project, person or bookmark you want.

6. Quick add menu

Quick add menu is both for better connectivity and speed. It lies on the navigation bar and allows you to add a person, project, topic, event, note, time, and announcements without having to leave whatever you are working on. You can also just open the menu using a shortcut — Ctrl/Cmd+M — yet again connecting things to make them way easier for you.

7. Keyboard shortcuts

Undoubtedly, work gets done easier, faster and of course, smarter with keyboard shortcuts. ProofHub will now help you to move from one place to another with keyboard shortcuts.

8. The all-new calendar views

You can now have multiple views of your calendar. ProofHub understands that at times you may want to check just a day’s tasks or just the milestones for the next 2 weeks, or maybe only the events for a month. So, you can now choose from day, week, 2 weeks, and a month views.

9. Recurring tasks

There are tasks that you may need to do on a regular basis. For example: submitting a daily status report, sending a monthly invoice to the client or even schedule daily performance reviews for the team. ProofHub now lets you plan your tasks smartly. You can set the tasks that you need to do regularly to recur with recurring tasks and the task will be added automatically each time.

10. All-new Custom reports

Along with default reports for an individual or a project, you can now create custom reports with the details and factors that you can pick on your own. So, go ahead, customize reports the way you want and fetch the data that you want.

11. The all-new Me-view

We kept it really subtle for you and your team to navigate easily through your ProofHub account. The all-new Me-view is personalized and is also the first thing you see every time you log in to ProofHub. You get links to announcements, assigned projects, and your bookmarks all at one place.

12. The all-new Emojis😍

Emojis make your conversations easier when you are short of words, you look for a more comfortable way to express yourself or want to give feedback that is specific - 👌.

13. Clubbed in-app notifications

You will no longer be flooded with notifications every time an activity of a similar nature happens. Now in-app notifications of the same activities will be clubbed and there will be no cluttered notifications.

14. Improved filters

In the all-new ProofHub, you will have ultimate control over what you choose to see with the improved filters.

15. All-new Project overview

You can now get details of everything that has happened till date in the all-new project overview. It gives you a summary that includes what is due, what needs to be done, milestones, events, and logged hours not only for everyone who’s part of the project but also yours, for you to plan work accordingly.

16. Profile view

Do you want to see a team member’s activities, assignments, and projects all at one place? Profile view helps you do that. It helps managers to get a clearer view of an individual’s profile and assign or plan work accordingly.

17. Board view for all tasks and my assignments

Now you will have a bird’s eye view of the current stage of tasks in a workflow in board view for all tasks and my assignments. So, you will see all tasks across all the projects without the need to jump through multiple projects.

What else has changed? There is more!

18. Bookmarks

Bookmarks allow seeing the bookmarked projects, task lists, notes, discussions, timesheets, and file folders you work on frequently at one central place, regardless of where you are in ProofHub. So you can access your bookmarks and get things done faster.

19. Personal theme

You can now personalize the look and feel of your me-view. Personal theme allows you to choose from the background images and or the solid colors available.

20. The all-new Navigation bar

Depending on your navigation preference, you can now choose between keeping the position of the navigation bar in the extreme left or on the top.

21. Read-unread notifications

In-app notifications will be marked as read as soon as you have opened those particular notifications and the ones that you have not opened will remain unread. So, you can always see which activity updates you have seen and which you have not.

22. Mark all notifications as read or unread

There are times when you want to mark notifications as read without having to open them. There also are times when you accidentally open a notification but want to keep it unread so that you remember to open it later. In the all-new ProofHub, you can do both.

23. Reach item on clicking desktop notification

As soon as you click on a desktop notification, you will reach the place where the activity has taken place.

24. Drag and drop images and documents

Attaching images to chat and comments just got easier as you can now drag and drop images.

25. Associate colors with stages in Board view

Now you can associate colors with stages in Board view so that each stage stands out and you can differentiate them from one another.

26. Subscribers for each stage in a workflow

ProofHub understands how some people are supposed to take care of one stage of a workflow and some the other. Now you can select which particular stages you want each person to be subscribed to in a workflow.

27. Sort chat list

As per your priorities, you can now sort your chat list by groups or by recent chats that you have had.

28. Filters for subtasks

Now you will have filters to see the complete or incomplete subtasks too.

29. Select text to add a topic, task, and event

You can now add a topic, task, and an event by just selecting the text written in a topic, note or a task comment.

30. Thumbnail preview of videos

In the all-new ProofHub, you will see a thumbnail preview of the YouTube and Vimeo video link added to the comments added to tasks, topics, notes and the texts sent in chats.

31. Custom welcome message

Whenever you add a person to ProofHub, you can now welcome them aboard with a custom message. You can choose what you want to include in your message. For example, you can add job responsibilities, on-boarding kit or anything alike.
