Introduction. This year was my first experience with the IPMA Global Excellence Award. I was already several times assessor and judge for the PMO of the world award. But those assessments are completely different. You watch on your own a one-hour presentation of a PMO. You assess that PMO at six criteria: PMO’s journey, client service, best practices, innovation, community and value generation and summarize strong points and areas for improvement.
