Been reading through Jay Cross's new book - "informal learning - rediscovering the natural pathways that inspire innovation and performance" during the holiday break. Way more learning happens in the coffee room than the classroom, but firms continue to spend way more on formal training than informal learning - there is a huge disconnect right there.

The example of how you can use it might be useful not only for developers, but for managers as well. Let’s say your web-site allows a user to fill a form and provide some feedback.

Live on SharePoint 2007! Recap and Leasons Learned.

Well, our portal was officially switched over last Tuesday, January 16 th , 2007. We spent last week doing office-by-office roadshows, giving demos to both staff and lawyers. Because of how we designed the site, it was important to break out the training sessions and we used 'volunteers' from the audience to log in with their account so people could see first hand how the system would look to them.
