“No one was sorry when he died”

These 7 words are haunting.  In the world’s best-selling book, this short sentence is a sobering summary of a failed leader’s life.  King Jehoram was a horrible leader.  He was a tyrannical, self-absorbed loser who inspired fear and distrust.  And, when he died, no one was sorry.

On the contrary, you get the feeling that there were private parties all over the land … “ding-dong-the-witch-is-dead” celebrations.  Good riddance!  Better times are coming!

Fast forward to your personal history…and mine.  What kind of influence are you having on others?  Think about work, the staff, and your project teams.  Leadership is at the very core of project management.  Like it or not, you will build a reputation for how well you lead others.  Are you fair, honest, and open to criticism?  Are you a servant leader?

What legacy do you want to leave?  How do you want to be remembered?

Ok, go for it!
