It also seems that there is a preference to have talks with broad appeal, this, I feel, has led to a reduced number of more technical talks on advanced topics. This is also the basis for ‘blind’ SME (subject matter expert) review of the submissions. An OK mix but you do see the same old same old as well. What do you think?
