Henry Gantt’s Biography & Role in Gantt Chart History

He’s best remembered for the tool that bears his name and his works in the development of what’s called scientific management. While Gantt charts are named after Henry Gantt, the first Gantt chart was developed by Karol Adamiecki, a Polish engineer, in the mid-1890s. It was later renamed the Taylor Society.
